Managing a successful Career and Technical Education program requires staying on top of the logistics that happen outside the classroom. This section contains all the essential documentation for field trip authorizations, extra duty pay requests, and substitute teacher arrangements. To ensure timely processing and budget compliance, please submit these forms to the CTE office according to the standard district lead times for each form.

Field Trips

Ensure your students are prepared for off-campus learning with our streamlined Field Trip Authorization forms. This section includes everything required for field trips, industry site visits, job shadowing, and CTSO competitions, including transportation requests, student waiver templates, and medical release forms. To ensure proper grant and administrative approval, please submit your completed packets at least six (6) weeks prior to your scheduled departure.

Sub Request

To ensure your lab or classroom continues to run smoothly in your absence for a field trip, CTSO event, professional learning, or shadow opportunity, please use the forms below to request a substitute teacher and document your coverage needs. Given the specialized equipment and safety protocols inherent in CTE programs, it is vital to provide clear instructions and emergency contact information for the visiting instructor. Please submit your request as early as possible to secure coverage and maintain the continuity of your students’ technical training.

Extra Duty

This section contains the necessary documentation for requesting compensation for work performed outside of standard contract hours. Whether you are seeking payment for CTSO coaching, curriculum development, or other CTE projects, please use this form to log your hours and project details.
 
All extra duty requests must be pre-approved by your administrator and submitted by the monthly payroll deadline to ensure timely processing.
